Teen Scenes and Songs

I'm off to Dallas for a dress rehearsal for my latest play, and I wanted to share this flier to you all. If you are interested in a dynamic and unique foray into the issues facing teens today, and the consequences of things like bullying, binge-drinking, dating violence, and more, and how you can avert these unfortunate situations, come see DCT's latest production.

Review: Benefit Erase Paste Concealer

A while ago I got my hands on a few Benefit products, including this little pot of concealer. I have to admit, I was pretty hooked when I saw the name Erase Paste, since that's what we all want our concealers to do, isn't it? I chose the No.1 shade, which is the lightest shade of the selection. I am pretty tan, but it worked pretty well for me. (Note: The shades are not nearly as dark as they first appear in the pot) First off, the packaging is not necessarily something I love.

Nautical Stripes

The nautical mood of stripes has always appealed to me. A dark color like navy or black combined with white somehow is a print in a classic way that isn't present, say, in fleur-de-lis printed brocade. (Not that I've seen many people wear that, but just as an example.) The monochrome palette of colors in this assemble makes me reminisce the small but stylish apartment block I visited in Houston (found here). A similar color scheme, but all the more made unique by the format. Looking at the stripes present in these photographs, I understand why I just purchased several more striped garments to add to my already ridiculously large collection. Whenever I look at stripes nowadays, I have a sudden craving for the beautiful blue waters of the Black Sea. Take me to Ukraine!
