On Wednesdays We Wear Pink: A Fashionable Seating Plan

STEPHENSON_COVERTEUR_MEANGIRLS_MAP-1

"On Wednesdays we wear pink." So goes the infamous signature line from the visual classic - Mean Girls. Ironically, the film celebrated it's 10th Anniversary just yesterday, and even though I would never be caught dead (in most situations) wearing pink, I decided to wear my jeans, tan booties, and oriental-type earrings with the hot pink Gap t-shirt that had been hanging in my closet gathering dust for 99.9% of the school year. Actually, I had very rarely seen so much of one color worn in school. A huge number of people were wearing pink, whether it be just some pink lettering on a "blank" club t-shirt, full out pink (including pink sneakers) and even a shirt that literally spelled out the occasion with the words: "On Wednesdays we wear pink." With that said, I was quite interested to read The Coveteur's take on the ever-so-rigid cafeteria seating plan in the movie - only the fashion world being the cafeteria, and the tables dominated with all those holy in fashion. The article started with the obvious, The Plastics being the glorified Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld, and Tom Ford and going right down to the Selfie Squad (Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, and Cara Delevingne). A very useful article, I must say. After all, anyone in fashion has to know their seating plan.
